You could possibly make friends with someone far away who is a coworker you never knew existed.

Facebook does not share this information right away as other social networking sites do. In addition to the cost, you should be able to get some information on Facebook, before you decided to join. Of course research is the first step in deciding whether or not you want to join a Facebook community. That is where everyone starts.
