Orkut: Social Networking Portal From Google
Are you interested in making new friends on the Internet? What about people who like the same things you do? If so, one of the surest ways to find such people is to look on social networking sites. Social networking services are often portrayed as online versions of offline communities, like local neighborhoods. If you’re interested in using this type of service and not a member of an existing site, you’ll need to find one to join. One option to consider is joining Orkut.
Orkut does tweak your interest, doesn’t it? Along with other high-traffic websites, including Yahoo! 360, Friendwise, Classmates, and MySpace, many people are curious about how this popular site got such a unique name. Orkut is named after its creator. Orkut Buyukkokten was an employee of Google.
If the website’s name isn’t enough to pique your interest, then have a look at its features. Orkut is like other social networking sites in that it offers a wide range of member benefits. It is worthwhile joining the social networking website, as a result of these benefits. Since Orkut is such a happening place, special procedures to gain membership have been put in place. You can’t just drop in; you must wait until you are invited to join.
Only those who are currently members of the community can send you an invitation. That means there’s no point in trying to get Google to extend you an invitation to join. Getting an invitation to Orkut sounds harder than it really is. Orkut has so many users that you may already know a member, either in person or online, who can invite you to join. By doing a simple web search, you should be able to locate Orkut members who will invite strangers, no questions asked.
Though many people opt out of joining Orkut because of the seemingly-onerous invitation requirements, these requirements are in place for a good reason. Orkut is social networking service that can be used at no cost. Unfortunately, the fact that it’s free means that demand for the site’s services is very high. Many free social networking sites have become a cesspool, not worthy of your time. A lot of Internet users like to have fun by generating false accounts and instigating online arguments. Google decided to institute special procedures to control membership to reduce the incidence of these problems.
Orkut, like similar social networking sites, can be used for a variety of purposes. The primary purpose of Orkut is to meet and maintain contact with friends, especially ones who have invited you, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Members of Orkut can easily connect with other members who share the same hobbies and interests. Not only can you find friends on Orkut, you might also be able to hook up with potential romantic partners. This is why Orkut is so great; once you’re a member, you can do so many things.
If Orkut interests you, you should check out their online website before taking the step of trying to get an invitation. All you have to do is visit www.orkut.com.

After so many weeks I am able to find a blog providing good information about the affiliate programs. I am glad to see that there are still few persons on the internet who are NOT using auto blog posters. Creating a blog like yours and maintaining it are difficult tasks but you managed it. Ok! Come to the point. However, you have tried to give good information about affiliate programs but I am still against affiliate programs. I mean fault is not in the affiliate programs but in the people. They do not want to work hard and leave the programs after some time. Now, you might be thinking, if I am against affiliate programs then why I am here at your blog. Actually I am doing some sort of research on affiliate programs and when started reading your blog, I sticked to it and could not stop myself writing comment. I am not so much against affiliate programs, but my nature is a sort of experimenting. I keep on doing experiments for making money in new ways. If you visit my website, clicking on my name in this comment then you are bound to get amazed. If, I write more about my site then you will think that I am spamming and I do not want to get my comment considered as spam. So, again from the begining, you have done a very good job! Hard work is appreciated! Well done! Thanks for providing such a nice detailed information. Keep it up!
